Science and medicine are constantly making great strides, ever expanding our knowledge of the both the world around us and ourselves. I specialize in taking those advances and teaching them to new audiences with beautiful, informative imagery.
The first step is always to engage with invested clients and experts to clarify the story we want to tell.
Next, we work together to identify the best way to tell that story visually.
Then I develop illustrations, animations, interactive apps, or something entirely new.
The process is completed when our audience sees the visuals and learns more about science.
In addition to a Master's degree in Medical Illustration and years of professional experience, I am one of only three hundred people to be a Board Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI). Involving a written exam and a thorough portfolio review, this certification is a testament to my knowledge in the biomedical sciences, business practices, ethics, drawing skills and visual storytelling.
